Fill An Ambulance Looking To Continue Fundraising Success

More toys for those in need is your objective this Saturday.

This weekend the Cochrane District Emergency Medical Services and Northeastern Ontario Family and Child Services will host their annual toy drive at Canadian Tire in Kapuskasing.

The Fill an Ambulance Event will be put on for a fifth straight year in the community, collecting new and unwrapped toys donations to be distributed to the less fortunate through the Christmas Angel Campaign.

Last year the two organizations along with other non-profits collected over 500 toys to distribute to the less fortunate within the community and over $1,600, which was almost double the total of the year previous.

The Cochrane District EMS, alongside NEOFACS and Cochrane DSSAB will be present at the event Saturday which takes place from 10:00am to 4:00pm at Canadian Tire.
