Author Sandra Semchuk gives a talk on Canada’s First World War Internment Camps, including Kapuskasing’s, on Thursday, May 16th in the Civic Centre Council Chambers at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30. Ms. Semchuk will also speak about Reconciliation. Ms. Semchuk’s book will be available to purchase and be signed by the author.

A free family trip to Science Timmins on Saturday, May 25th. Bus departs the KIFC at 8:40am with pickup locations at Rody's Retailer, the Arena and McDonald's. Bus will be departing Timmins at 1:30pm with drop-off locations the same as pickup. Children 16 years and under must be accompanied by a responsible person 18 years or older in order to attend.
