Travelling in Northern Ontario to get the necessary health care treatments isn’t cheap, which is why a local family in Fauquier started a Go-Fund-Me page.
Linda Jeffels was diagnosed with cancer several days before her 65th birthday and recently started radiation for the cancer on her brain and lungs. She’s being booked for appointments in Sudbury and Toronto and is living on a small pension with her husband of 47 years. The money raised would be used to help cover the cost of travel, food, shelter and medications that aren’t covered.
