Local police are asking for help tracking down a car thief.
The OPP says in the early hours of the morning on Halloween, a white vehicle was stolen from a residence in Timmins. Police located the motor-vehicle later that afternoon on an off-road trail just North of Cochrane with stolen property from a Cochrane motel.
The OPP Forensic Identification Services is helping out with the investigation and anyone with information is being asked to either call police directly or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
