Police Lay Charges After Investigation into Animal Thefts and Cruelty in Hearst

The OPP in Hearst has laid charges against two individuals in regards to criminal activity at a local hobby farm. For the past several weeks police have been investigating the theft and cruelty of animals in the community and now an 18 and 19-year-old are facing multiple charges.

The accused are scheduled to appear in court December 14th and are facing several counts of theft, trespassing and possession of property obtained by crimes. The investigation is still ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
