Flu vaccine clinics are starting at health units around the area tomorrow.
These clinics will be available at select locations from Hearst to Iroquois Falls along with many communities in between including, Opasatika, Kapuskasing, Moonbeam, Smooth Rock Falls and Cochrane.
The PHU is reminding residents that you can book your flu shot online this year so you can pick a time and date that works best with your schedule. You can even get your flu shot on the weekend.
The PHU says although the flu is often thought of as harmless, it can lead to serious complications if not treated and the health unit is encouraging everyone to get the vaccine.
