Everything is in place for the new pool project in Kapuskasing, but now they’re looking for someone to head the fundraising committee.
CAO Yves Labelle says the person who was originally going to do it had to step down to due personal reasons so they’re looking for a replacement. Labelle says ideally they would like to bring in someone who has prior fundraising experience, but they haven’t had too much luck so far.
Many of the people the town has asked to help out will be unavailable over the winter months. Labelle says right now they have about 12 people on the construction and finance committee and are looking for one more.
