If an agreement isn’t reached later this week, 16 unionized employees in the Township of Black River-Matheson will go on strike.
Members of CUPE Local 1490 have agreed to extend their lockout deadline until Wednesday.
A mediator with the Ministry of Labour will be there to assist with the negotiations.
