Rock Box CrossFit in Kapuskasing Hosting a 12-Hour Workout Challenge

The local CrossFit gym in Kapuskasing is raising money for the Special Olympics.

Last year 10 CrossFit gyms across the country got took part in a 24-hour workout and were able to raise $100,000 dollars for the Special Olympics.

CrossFit decided on donating the money to the Special Olympics because it encourages inclusion, universal access to fitness and pushing yourself beyond your own expectations, all things CrossFit stands for.

CF/24 consists of one workout every hour, on the hour for 24 hours. Since this is the first year the event is taking place in Kapuskasing they will be doing it for 12-hours.

The workouts are scheduled ahead of time and are meant to be challenging but manageable. The first rule is to have fun while working out.
