Northeastern Police Units are kicking off their Operation Impact today. The national safety campaign focuses on making Canada’s roads the safest in the world. Operation Impact runs until Monday and officers will be out on the roads looking for anything that could jeopardize safety.
That includes seatbelt use, distracted driving, and impaired driving.
