Earlier in the week Friends of Rene Brunelle Provincial Park held their first annual general meeting.
Elections took place at the meeting and a whole new board of directors were announced.
Kevin Robichaud was named President, Gilbert Peters Vice President and Roxane Filion the Secretary Treasurer. Five directors were also elected to the board.
Vice president of the organization, Gilbert Peters says people left the meeting feeling happy knowing that the provincial park is in good hands and has a positive future.
Friends of Rene Brunelle, is a non-profit organization that is always working to improve the park for future generations.
