Friends of Rene Brunelle Provincial Park is having their annual meeting tonight and are looking for new board members.
Friends of Rene Brunelle Provincial Park is a group of local community members focused on improving the park for future generations.
The group was started back in 2012 after cuts were announced to Ontario Parks. Members of the community joined forces to help prevent the provincial park from closing. Friends of Rene Provincial Park was officially registered as a non-profit organization the next year.
Now the group is looking for new members to sit on their board. Anyone interested in helping to improve the park is being asked to come out to the annual meeting tonight at the Moonbeam Municipal Complex at 7:00pm.
