A RIDE program in the Town of Cochrane has resulted in charges being laid.
Friday morning members of the James Bay OPP were stopping vehicles at the corner of Fifth Street and Western Avenue when they pulled over a man whose blood alcohol was above the legal limit.
The 32-year-old man had his license suspended for 90 days and the car he was driving has been impounded for a week.
The officers made the stop Friday morning and the accused has been scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cochrane, October 27th.
