It’s do or die for the Remi Lake Cottage Owners Association.
Secretary of the organization, Nicole Tremblay says the President, Vice President and all of the executive members are stepping down which could cause the association to fold. Tremblay says they need the full support of the association at the board meeting next week and some current members to step up.
The Remi Lake Cottage Owners Association is responsible for putting the buoys out in the lake, maintaining street signs and installing new street lights which could all stop if they fold. Tremblay says if they fold they will lose their voice with Moonbeam which has a bigger impact as an association, instead of individuals voicing their opinions.
Tremblay says they sent out over 800 membership letters and only nine members showed up at the last meeting.
The meeting is set for next Monday, October 3rd at 7:00pm at the Moonbeam Municipal Complex.
