Kapuskasing Army Cadets Looking for New Recruits

Another season is underway for the 1635 Royal Canadian Army Cadets.

With the help of a few other cadets, Master Warrant Officers Amanda Robinson and Madison Giasson have gone out to the local schools trying to get some new recruits.

Robinson and Giasson say when it comes to the cadets there is a common misconception.

Robinson and Giasson say to be a part of the cadets you only need to commit to one day a week unless you decide to take part in some of the extra-curricular activities.

The only requirements to be a part of the cadets are that you’re within the age of 12 and 19.

To sign up or get involved with the 1635 Kapuskasing Royal Canadian Army Cadets you can go to the Civic Centre Tuesday nights after 6:00pm.
