The Town of Cochrane is welcoming newcomers next week at the first annual Welcome to Cochrane Reception. The event gets underway Thursday at the Tim Horton Events Centre.
Economic Development Officer for the Town of Cochrane, Isabelle Denault says although the event is meant for newcomers, long term residents might find something new to try.
There will be not-for-profit organizations, sports and recreational clubs, local churches and volunteer groups at the event to showcase some of what the town has to offer.
There’s no cost to attend and everyone is welcome.
