The Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing will have some extra help as a group of medical students from the Northern Ontario School of Medicine start Tuesday.
The students arrived in town last weekend and have already had the opportunity to meet different people in the community and see some of the services offered.
Most of the students are considering going into family medicine and they feel that working in a town the size of Kapuskasing will give them the necessary hands on experience.
Not only will they be involved at the hospital, but they will also be a part of the medical team for the Kap Flyers.
The students are currently in their third year of medical school at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and will be in Kapuskasing for the next eight months.
