Tim Horton Banner Raising Ceremony

The original Tim Horton hockey banner that’s hanging at the ACC will be returning to Cochrane.

The banner has been held at the ACC since the 1990’s, but will be returned to Cochrane as that is the home town of Tim Horton. Horton played 24 seasons in the NHL and since has been inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

The banner raising ceremony will be taking place shortly before the Cochrane Crunch play in their first tournament of the year. The Crunch will be hosting the first ever Polar Bear Classic tournament.

Admission is free for the banner raising ceremony and puck drops for the game at 7:30pm.
