Province Investing In Hospitals in the Northeast

The province is kicking in almost $15 million to invest into hospitals in the northeast. More than 20 hospitals that will benefit from the funding. Kapuskasing, Sudbury, Smooth Rock Falls and Temiskaming are among some of the places that will benefit.

The money is going to go into various projects like fixing roofs, upgrading fire alarms, and buying back-up generators.

Ontario’s Energy Minister, and MPP for Sudbury, Glenn Thibeault says the funding is badly needed for hospitals in the area. He says the province’s goal is to work with healthcare units in north, to ensure patients have access to care at all times.
