Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli says the Financial Accountability Officer keeps proving what his party claims. That is the Wynne Liberals are balancing the budget artificially.
In the release of the latest quarterly numbers, Fedeli says the Liberals again said they remained on track to balance the budget.
The Tory finance critic says that’s not how the FAO sees it.
Fedeli says the Liberals are using money from the sale of Hydro One to lower the deficit.
But he says when that money is used up, the deficit will skyrocket right after the 2018 election because the Liberals aren’t reducing their spending.
