Pat Kennedy has taken over the roles as Fire Chief and Manager of Protective Services for Kapuskasing. Kennedy replaced the former Manager of Protective Services Gerry Demeules who recently retired from the position. Kennedy says he has known since was hired in November that he would be taking over this position.
As Manager of Protective Services, Kennedy will oversee many different roles.
Kennedy says although it is a lot of work he’s looking forward to the new role.
The Fire Chief assumed responsibility of the new roles as of August 1st, 2016.
