The town of Kapuskasing has revealed the new compost site hours of operation. The site will be open Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm and Saturday from 9am to 1pm. Access to the site is only available from the Sports Palace parking lot. CAO for the town of Kapuskasing Yves Labelle says they have been finding all kinds of things that don’t belong in the compost site.
Labelle also says they will have a locked gate after hours to deter people from dumping things that don’t belong.
The town says only branches, leaves, grass clippings and other outdoor waste will be accepted at the compost site. No bags or containers are allowed to remain on site.
