A Fraudulent email claiming to be from Canada Post is impacting residents across Northern Ontario. New emails using Canada Post’s name or brand are asking customer to either click on a link or document to obtain their tracking information. Canada Post wants to remind customer not to open any of these emails as they are considered “phishing” and may contain viruses. If you’re not expecting a package delete the email and do not click the hyperlink. If you are expecting a package, instead enter your tracking information directly on Canada Posts website.
