The Kapuskasing River Walleye Tournament is Seeking New Volunteers and Committee Members

New volunteers and committee members are needed for the 2016 Kapuskasing River Walleye Tournament. Volunteers would perform various tasks at the weigh in station. The event is taking place the weekend of August 5th along the Kapuskasing River.

The tournament is eagerly anticipated by anglers and has a reputation for big walleyes. Several years ago it took a 13 pounder to take big fish honors. The 40 kilometer section of river offers good fishing for all sizes of walleye. There is limited space for the events so sign up early if you don’t want to miss your chance of catching a walleye of a lifetime.

To get involved send a private Facebook message on the KRWT page or call 705-335-0571.
