Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson is raising red flags about a plan that will see cable and internet prices spike. He says right now, the Ontario Energy Board has an application in front of it to see the rental prices of hydro poles increased, from the hydro company to your cable and internet provider. Bisson says if approved, it will mean a spike in cable bills across Ontario.
Bisson is now urging the public to contact the Ontario Energy Board, and let them know you don’t want to see Hydro One increase the rental price on the hydro poles.
