The 17th Annual Lumberjack Heritage Festival All Wrapped Up

A little bit of rain wasn’t enough to stop this year’s Lumberjack Festival. The 17th annual festival kicked off Friday night with a parade and fireworks. Saturday saw the amateur lumberjack competitions, bmx workshops and cross fit competition. The event wrapped up Sunday afternoon.

Competitors came all the way from Timmins, Sudbury, Toronto and Ottawa to be a part of this year’s annual Lumberjack Festival. With chainsaw bucking, axe throwing, log rolling and water boiling to list a few events competitors were able to showcase their skills in many different ways.

Local vendors lined the streets as people from all across the province came out to attend the 17th annual Lumberjack Heritage Festival.
