A new forest fire has been located in the northeast, bringing the total to seven. The latest fire in Parry Sound was discovered earlier in the week. The hazard for the Northeastern Ontario is rated as high, but no fire bans are in effect. The largest fire in the area is Cochrane 11, which is currently being observed at 15 hectares. Campers are reminded to be careful with their campfires, and to always practice fire safety while out in the woods.
