More than a million dollars in new funding for Kapuskasing and over half a million dollars for Hearst and the surrounding area has been announced by FedNor. The funding will support a variety of different projects across the region including mining, infrastructure, youth business development and community economic growth. Member of Parliament for Sudbury Paul Lefebvre was in Kapuskasing and Hearst yesterday to make the announcement. Lefebvre shares the impact that FedNor has on the region.
Lefebvre also says this funding will help provide hands on experience to youth across the region and build a brighter future for all of Northern Ontario.
