Questions Still Being Asked About Nipigon Bridge Collapse

Questions are still being asked about the collapse of the Nipigon Bridge that caused a 24 hour delay on the Trans-Canada highway. Each day about 1,300 trucks cross the bridge carrying close to $100-million dollars in goods.  Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson believes that the public deserves an explanation as to what happened.

Two independent facilities have already done testing on bolts from the bridge and submitted the results to the Ministry of Transportation. Those results won’t be available to the public until the fall of this year.
