No license is needed until July 10th.
Ontario lakes and rivers are home to more than 160 types of fish
The free week is an opportunity for young anglers to learn about the sport.
The province does remind anyone heading out on the water to follow all of the rules and safety regulations.
OPG also has tackle share programs in Timmins and Kapuskasing, allowing for all of the necessary gear to be borrowed for free.
