The Ride Don’t Hide event is a nationwide campaign raising awareness and funding for mental health services and it’s making a stop in Kirkland Lake this weekend.
On Sunday bike riders will be departing from the Northern College campus at 7:00am for a 32, 65 and 100 kilometre bike ride.
The event also serves as a fundraiser for local mental health programs in Cochrane-Temiskaming.
Kirkland Lake’s Mayor Anothony Antoniazzi and CMHA executives Clark MacFarlane and Catherine Simunovic will all be on-hand to kick off the event.
The campaign’s goal of $1.5-million raised nationally has received a great deal of support from every community which has hosted it.
