Claybelt and Head Start Part of Youth Entrepreneurship Camp

Entrepreneurship is the main focus of North Claybelt’s CFDC camp in Moonbeam next month.

Kids ages nine to 13 from Hornepayne to Kirkland Lake attend the camp every year.

Program Coordinator Josee Labelle says aside from learning about businesses and finances there are actual camp activities thrown on the mix.

Labelle says even though the kids are very young, they have great ideas and at the camp are given the ability to carry them out.

She says even though the campers are young, some of the ideas they come up with are impressive.

The camp gives them the opportunity and guidance to execute and take action on those ideas.

The camp runs from Monday, July 4th to Friday, July 18th with all of the kids’ products on display at Riverside Park in Kapuskasing.

More information and how to sign your child up can be found here.
