The Minister for Aboriginal Affairs in Ontario agrees that First Nations that don’t have safe drinking water is unacceptable.
David Zimmer was responding to concerns from Nickel Belt New Democrat France Gelinas.
Gelinas says in some cases, the lack of safe water is creating dangerous health conditions.
However, Zimmer says the province is committed to improving drinking water on reserves and is working with the feds on solutions.
