Commuters can expect more delays in Kapuskasing as the closure of Riverside Drive and McPherson Avenue will be extended until Friday afternoon.
That comes directly from public works crews on the project.
The sewage system on Riverside Drive collapsed last month and needed immediate attention.
Manager of Public Works, Eric Cote expressed his concerns for the project as the current system is decades old and has a water main above it.
This means Public Works has double the work to bring the area up to modern standards and repair the system.
