The Canadian Blood Services will be back in the area on June 21st and 22nd in Timmins at St. Dominique Hall.
Timmins serves as the hub for the area once a month, hoping to draw in more donors from rural communities.
While all donors are needed, CBS says type-O donors are vital in emergency situations as they are universal donors.
CBS put out a call earlier this year for donors as it’s been struggling to meet its northern targets.

In this year alone 100,000 new donors will be needed and over 10,000 of those will need to be O-negative.
The drive will be held at St. Dominque Hall.
