Local Tim Hortons’ locations in Kapuskasing and Hearst have raised nearly $16,000 combined as part of Camp Day.
It’s a national event for Tim Hortons, which has all coffee sales going directly to the Tim Hortons Children’s Foundation.
In the 25 years since the THCF’s creation it’s raised over $150 million across Canada, sending nearly a quarter-million children from low-income families to camp.
The foundation also funds programs will local schools and community groups where its franchises are located.
