Canada’s Minister of Health, Jane Philpott and MP for Timmins-James Bay are taking a trip to Attawapiskat and Kashechewan today.
Angus confirmed the trip on social media last night.
Angus says the two will be visiting Attawapiskat for an update on its mental health emergency.
Earlier this year, children from Kashechewan were evacuated to northern hospitals with skin lesions for treatment.

That healthcare emergency came around the same time the remote James Bay community was forced to evacuate as the Albany River threatened to flood.
This comes on the heels of the announcement that the province is channelling $222-million to improve healthcare for aboriginal communities in Ontario.
