One person is dead after two motorcycles were involved in a crash on Highway 11.
The Cochrane OPP says it was called to the scene on Sunday afternoon.
Police say 61-year-old Gerard Rondeau of Iroquios Falls was taken to hospital following the crash and later died.
This comes less than a week after the OPP posted a warning regarding motorcycle safety over the summer months.
The OPP says two motorcycles were travelling in the same direction just south of Cochrane on Highway 11 when the crash happened.
The investigation is still ongoing.
