The Kapuskasing and District Chamber of Commerce’s AGM serves as a place for local businesses, organizations and the municipality to connect.
President of the KDCC Martin Proulx says the chamber has been moving to modernize the way it does business.
Members of the chamber shared reports, voted in nominations for executives and gave a progress update on the rate of growth for the Chamber.
He says initiatives with organizations like NeoNet are helping local businesses in the area compete in the modern era.
The town’s mayor Allan Spacek, the Demonstration Farm’s Andrew Gordanier and KDCC leadership spoke at the event.
