A Northern Ontario MP wants Canadians who fought in the Cold War recognized for their effort.
So New Democrat Carol Hughes is re-introducing her Private Member’s Bill that does just that.
Hughes, who represents Algoma Manitoulin Kapuskasing, says her Bill would create a medal that is wide reaching.
The medal would be formally called the Defense of Canada Medal.
