The North Centennial Manor in Kapuskasing has declared a gastro enteric outbreak.
Visitor restrictions and activity cancellations are now in place.
The Manor is advising anyone with a cough or runny nose or anyone who has experienced nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or fever in the last 72 hours not visit the facility.
Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to visit and there will be a limit of one visitor per resident for the time-being.
It’s not yet clear how long the outbreak warning will be in effect.
