FONOM Conference Enters Day Two

Day two of FONOM begins today in Timmins.

Kathleen Wynne is in the city this morning to give a speech at 8:15.

She will then be touring the Kidd Mine to help celebrate its 50th anniversary.

Also on today’s agenda is a workshop with the Assistant Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.

Janet Hope will be talking about new initiatives to address housing needs and homelessness in the north.

The city’s Manager of Planning Cindy Welsh is going to speak about the Hollinger Open Pit Mine, and the trade show will continue at the Mac.
