The North Centennial Manor is holding its annual 2016 fundraising campaign to help combat its new challenge of upgrading its equipment and meeting its maintenance needs.
The manor is a non-profit care facility which provides full-time care for the elderly, people with disabilities, dementia and with long-term, specific healthcare needs.
The Manor says its equipment turnover could cost as much as half-a-million dollars to replace this year, which includes its maintenance costs.
Its operational funding is provided by the Ministry of Health, the town of Kapuskasing, Fauquier, Moonbeam and Opasatika; where almost all of its residents are from.
