It’s Mental Health Awareness Week and the north east OPP is lending its voice to those in need and pitching in on the discussion.
It’s the 65th anniversary of the week which also aims to engage the public in discussions on mental health and mental illness.
The OPP says it’s made significant strides to treat and respond to mental health issues both with officers and within the public which they serve.
Twenty-sixteen’s campaign is being taken to social media using the hashtag #GETLOUD to promote conversation on the topic.
