May 1st marks Doctor’s Day in Canada and HSN is taking the time to recognize its 280 physicians.
HSN says Doctor’s Day in the province began in 2011 and the date was chosen because it was Emily Stowe’s birthday, Canada’s first female doctor.
HSN provides resources, services and treatment for much of north eastern Ontario, serving as a hub for serious treatment of patients from smaller rural communities.
It’s also launching a social media campaign to promote the special day.
