Northern Health Unit Confirms Hepatitis A Following Costco Recall

The Sudbury and District Health Unit has a confirmed case of Hepatitis A in its service area.

But what it can’t confirm is that the infection is the result of eating frozen berries from Costco.

Nature’s Touch Organic Berry Cherry Blend have caused at least 10 instances of Hepatitis A in Ontario.

The Costco in Sudbury was one such location where the product was sold.

Costco ships across northern Ontario, including the Cochrane District.

The product has been recalled, but if you think you ate the berries, call your local health unit for a possible vaccination.
