Kapuskasing’s Ron Morel Memorial Museum may not be open until June but its curator has been hard at work getting new exhibits ready for the summer.
Julie Latimer says the museum has received many photos from the 1920s showing outdoor sports and hobbies from the time.
She says it’s interesting to see people doing all the same activities like fishing, cross-country skiing and hunting nearly 100 years ago.
Latimer says she’s also received a large donation of children’s clothing from the town in the 1940s.
The museum, which features exhibits from across the north, is set to open on Monday, June 6th
