The Kapuskasing Demonstration Farm is redefining agriculture in the north.
Andrew Gordanier runs the farm; he says the first products from the farm have received an overwhelming response from the community and sold out within a week.
Gordanier says the farm is in a unique position to take advantage of modern farming methods and technology.
He says the original business plan has been accelerated by years thanks to the rapid development, support of the community and economic climate in the area.
Manager of Economic Development for the town of Kapuskasing, Andre Robichaud says partnerships, like the one with La Fromagerie Kapuskoise , goes to show how viable agriculture is in the north.
