Kapuskasing’s town council has given the green light for a group of local organizations to hold a 5K run in May.
The event, ‘I’m Living It in Colour’, would see entries running through town and stopping at checkpoints to be covered in powdered colours.
It’s being supported by The Centre de sante and the Healthy Kids Community Initiative.
Organizers for the event say the goal is to promote a more healthy and active lifestyle.
The event has the support of both the French and English school boards at the elementary and secondary levels.
