Remi Skill Hill in Moonbeam has announced it has closed for the season.
This comes as northern Ontario has experienced one of its most mild winters in the last half-decade.
Mild temperatures over the Christmas holidays further prolonged opening dates for many winter sports.
Local businesses dedicated to winter sports have been hit financially by this season’s climate.

Management at Remi says it will be looking at fundraising for next season.
The ski club will be making an appearance at the Kapuskasing Sports and Trade Show in May.
Kamiskotia Snow Resort in Timmins has also experienced difficulties this winter and is expected to remain open this week.
